What a great cover! I'm not sure how this photo was made but it appears to show pressure waves as the aircraft approaches the sound barrier.

It's a demonstration record for Studio 2 Stereo, a record label. I have a number of other albums that claim to give enhanced stereo playback using Sound 4 for example. I'd like to do a bit of research about these sound formats from the 60's and see what other variations I can find in my record collection.
