"A strong but delecate wine made in the excellent German style". Click the image to read the full text.
I found these two in an issue of INFO: Information, Ideas and Hints for New Zealanders in their 20s and 30s. First Edition. Published by Burnham House Publishing Limited. 1982/1983.

Peter Sinclair is the endorsement for a "delightful new wine style". Take a moment to read the copy - it's been a while since i've read such a calculated piece of groupthink. Perhaps this is more obvious in retrospect, but interesting to note the cultural change in the attitude to wine since the 80s.

"...enjoy the that fabulous Ritz-of-the-road feeling..."
My first car was a Ford Laser - a similar model but cooler than this one (4 door), but sharing the same metalic grey/brown theme in body colour (and interior). The laser was a tidy little car which was quite cheap to run.

Notice the emphasis on the word Ritzy: "...enjoy the that fabulous Ritz-of-the-road feeling when you show it to your friends". The angle is clearly conspicuous consumption - a call to action that seems bizare looking back at the Laser today.
