Shot on what looks like VHS converted to film, it's disorientating in the few scenes where film is the originating medium. Lynch regular Laura Dern is the object of affection and floats from movie star to Sunset Strip hooker. It's a great performance. Other characters appear in wide angle closeups painting them as disturbingly comic. And then there's the rabbit people.
